    • Job Description


    Major Responsibilities:
     -To Plan, Prepare, Execute and Report test cycles for both functional and non-functional testing and automated tests.
     -Involves functional system testing and exposure to non- functional testing.
     -Understand and manage User Story and Bug lifecycle.
     -Do estimation, review and provide improvement suggestions.
     -Work closely with the London-based Test Lead, Development --- Team & Project Manager and Willis IT resources.









    Each individual will possess the following knowledge and experience:






    -Testing web-based applications preferably from the financial domain.
     -Good oral and written communication skills.
     -Strong Understanding of SDLC and role of a QA Analyst.
     -Strong Understanding of software testing techniques and tools.
     -Strong Understanding of Test design, Test execution and defect lifecycle.
     -Strong Understanding of web based application and architecture.
     -A proven track record testing user interfaces, API and everything downward
     -Should be comfortable with SQL.
     -Good data analysis skills resulting in timely decision making.
     -Demonstrates excellent process, documentation, team participation and problem-solving skills.
     -Able to work independently with little help, be self-motivated and be passionate about software testing.
     -Knowledge of TFS and MTM.
     -Financial services / Insurance domain knowledge especially around risk analysis.
     -White box testing background in an Agile team.
     -Exposure in testing Mobile applications on iOS/Android platform.
     -Experience in test automation and test automation tools (Preferably Selenium web driver with c#).
     -A Testing certification.
